When Simon Erikkson arrived in Boston from Sweden he had little time to adjust before getting thrown into the fire with the Blackhawks. A start against the First place New England Stars(19-1-1) and a 52 save effort was the Welcome Aboard he received. The hardworking Erikkson comes with agreat attitude and work effort. Goalie Coach Jeff Mitchell compares him to last years Laurie Rinta Harri who made the U-18 National Finnish team this season."Simon has that quick glove and is a butterfly style like Lauri but goes post to post with great speed".
